When we visited there was nobody there which is fine because it’s literally on a field next to a road. This museum has a collection of different international wind turbines. This was a spontaneous but great find. The museum is not fully open yet, but the plans for it are very interesting. It is an outside museum showing how wind power has evolved through the ages. Hier handelt es sich um ein erstklassiges und aufgeräumtes Freiluft-Museum, an dem die Entwicklungsgeschichte der Windkraftanlagen wunderbar nachvollziehbar ist. Einige Exponate sind geöffnet, dann kann man sich in die Mechanik der Flügel-Verstellung und Drehzahlregelung hineindenken. Jedes Exponat ist ausführlich beschrieben, dazu auch die Geschichte zum Hersteller. Wenn man Glück hat, ergibt sich vielleicht sogar ein äußerst interessantes Gespräch mit dem "Chef vons Janze".

Es gibt keine festen Öffnungszeiten, man kann einfach über das Gelände spazieren, denn es ist auch nicht umzäunt. Ein Eintrittsgeld wird nicht erhoben. Eine kleine Spende oder die Mitgliedschaft im Trägerverein...
