The Lanserhof concept is a wellness hotel masquerading as a medical retreat. The medical aspect is not only lacking but full of falsehoods/unscientific things. This retreat is NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

1. I went with a medical issue - I knew there was something wrong with my gut however the doctor was not knowledgeable, refused to refer me to a gastroenterologist, and came with an unconvincing answer at the end of the retreat which I now need to get a second opinion on with my doctor at home.
2. The place sells multiple scientifically debunked & questionable things: craniosacral therapy, foot detox, and food sensitivity tests.
3. They tell you scientifically incorrect things like "drinking while eating is bad for your digestion"

There is no doubt the people are very nice (hence 2 stars), they have great (but excruciatingly expensive) physios, personal trainers, and masseuses but it all does not make up for the price. Une clinique de qualité mais ils sont trop sollicités et pas assez de staff du coup on se retrouve très souvent oublié! L'information ne circule pas entre les équipes et les clients en subissent les conséquences notamment un manque de suivi sur le bilan de santé et un énorme manque de coordination je vous donne un exemple : vous allez voir votre médecin et vous plaignez d'une douleur il vous réfère vers un autre médecin sans transmettre les information pour lesquelles il vous a envoyé. Ou encore votre médecin référent à la clinique vous exige une consultation chez un spécialiste vous y allez mais le spécialiste ne sait pas pourquoi vous été envoyé. Ils poussent à la consommation pourquoi pas mais qui coordonne tout ça? A part 3 ou 4 guests relations qui sont exceptionnelles mais qui ne sont pas docteur vous êtes seuls devant l'étendu de la médecine qu'ils proposent sans vous y retrouver. Et si vous y allez pour la première fois et être confiés à certain médecin ou thérapeute vous risquez d'avoir une très mauvaise expérience car le niveau de certains est très en dessous de ce à quoi on s'attende.
