The name Anyaa was derived from a historical tree called the (Onyaa tree). Anyaa, belongs to a particular family called The Charbukwei Family Of Anyaa. Within the Charbukwei family, there are five houses namely, Adukwei, Karley, Motsoo, Akle, and Adofo. The land is not a stool land but a family land, and because it’s a family land, they are being lead by a head of family. It wasn't bad at all on my visit, the only thing I wasn't happy about was the fact that I saw some kenkay (a corn dough mixture boiled) meant to be eaten with pepper with fish, or stew or even soup.
