Zilniá Viewpoint — Local services in Dion - Olympos Municipality

A rest stop with an amazing view over the valley and mountains. There are places to sit and a small roof as well as garbage cans. The space for parking is not that large and is sometimes blocked completely by tourists buses that pass through the area. During our visit the safety rails were missing so keep a close eye on your family if you stop by with small children who might otherwise wander over the side...

Πολύ καλό σημείο για στάση σε πλάτωμα του δρόμου αριστερά όπως ανεβαίνουμε στο δρόμο για τα Πριόνια. Αρκετά φαρδύ το μέρος για να σταματήσουν τρια έως τέσσερα αυτοκίνητα. Υπάρχουν παγκάκια, μικρό κιόσκι και κάδοι σκουπιδιών. Από εδώ ξεκινά ορεινό μονοπάτι για την Παλαιά Μονή Αγίου Διονυσίου του εν Ολύμπω και στη συνέχεια για ταξίδια τα Πριόνια. Δεν είναι εύκολο και χρειάζεται καλή φυσική κατάσταση. Άπλετη θέα αριστερά προς Θερμαϊκό κόλπο και δεξιά προς Όλυμπο και φαράγγι τού Ενιπέα ποταμού,ο οποίος ακούγεται να ρέει ορμητικός!
