Betsy, was not only a safe and skilled driver but also a great guide, sharing interesting insights about Crete’s history, culture, and local spots during our journey. Bessy is an amazing person. Travelling with my parents who are elderly and my brother, wife and three kids. Bessy picked us up from the hotel and brought us to the heraklio port bound for Naxos. She brought the taxi to the ship and waited until my father had a wheelchair to get onto the ship. During helping the luggage of my parents and my brother I forgot my backpack in the Taxi, which gave me a mild heart attack due to having my work phone in there. Bessy called the hotel got the details and contacted us in order to tell me that i forgot my backpack. I told her I would stay on the ship and would return to heraklio in 12 hours. She asked to speak to the supervisor of the ferry, another wonderful person Mr Maki of seajet lines. She arranged to leave it with him who would bring it to Naxos for me. She took time off her busy morning schedule in order for me to have my backpack returned to me. Today at 12:10 seajet arrived in Naxos and a retrieved my backpack. Thank you to Bessy. We booked Cretan Family for transport between Chania, Rethymno and Heraklion. They also do private tours. We did two fun-filled, full day private tours - one in Chania and one in Heraklion. Panos and Bessie were our tour guide / drivers in a Chania and Heraklion respectively. In both places they suggest the best places to see - from historical sites like Spinaloga and Knossos Place to the best beaches. They also suggested the best and most authentic places for great food (not the tourist traps). They were super responsive, careful drivers, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced.
