Ammoglossa Beach — Local services in Meganisi Municipality

Excellent and beautiful place. It's ideal for families. It's very close to thilia island and gives you an amazing view. Also it's a lot of sea life and makes ideal for snorkeling. Beach is a cape and you can find a good without waves. It's a good alternative to agios ioannis beach with a wonderful beach bar. The only problem is waves from motor boats which comes through the chanel. Some of the captains don't know or ignore the speed limits and special beach speed...

Lovely Beach, nice bar area across a small not busy road serving a range of snacks and drinks ,ice cream ,hot dogs, sandwiches etc , the waves can get occasionally high, due to passing boats, but not often in our case, so keep anything you don't want getting wet of the floor, it's not really a big deal. Sunbeds are €10 per set Just one gripe...maybe the 3 girls serving could smile a bit , I'd love that job tbh ...a smile...

Nice clean beach comfy sunbeds, pleasant staff. Only annoyance was that after an hour several day boats moored up close by with loud music blaring out. Skinny Russian girls with portly Russian men paraded up and down the beach taking selfies and generally annoying other beach users. Apparently this happens from time yo time and there's nothing to be done. Shame as it ruined our day and we...
