Beautiful beach, but be aware of the beachchairs' and umbrellas' owner. When we arrived, there was no one there (10 am). At around 11.00 we were leaving because of the wind, the owner came and demanded that we pay half a price for the use of beach chairs, which was 4 €. At first I refused, because there was no sign of beach chairs being private property or pricelist. Of course I should have known better. I payed, but he started to get aggresive and yelled at us about coming to our country and taking our stuff. He's definitely very welcome - it's Slovenia, by the way, at least he'll learn something about running business in tourism. Of course don't expect to get any receipt. Or the working shower on the beach for that matter. I don't mind paying, I understand that's how people on tourist islands earn their living, but that's not the right way to do it. Read moreA remote location away from the mainstream tourist spots. Signage to this beautiful location are plentiful Umbrellas and chairs offered at minimal prices when compared what is paid on other islands.
Anna’s cafe restaurant’s options are delightful with assorted dishes to choose. A favorite was the tuna salad along with the chicken or pork souvlaki sticks and eggs with sausage. The Greek salad is also a favorite with fries. The tzatziki homemade by Anna not to be missed
A choice of beer 🍺 wine 🍷 and ouzo complimented by frappe or freddo cappuccino completed with a fruit dish.
The service was impeccable from the moment of our arrival until we departed.
Parking is plentiful and assisted by Taki’s team.
A remote cafe with so many choices made the trip worthwhile. Not to be missed and worth the drive. Thank you...

Sunbeds are 20 euros for the day - I paid 15 because I was alone (June 2024). Not windy at all. Sun goes down between 5 and 6 pm. Wait until everyone is gone before going away! It is most beautiful when there is no one (and the drive uphill will be easier!). Probably the most picturesque beach. I gave it 4 stars just because of the pebbles. I love pebbled beaches, but here they are on the large side - they’re more like stones. If you are barefoot it might hurt a bit. Kyra Panagia has smaller pebbles. The beach is about 25 minutes...
