To be honest. Nothing hippocratic or historical. Two nice buildings . The replica of an ancient Greek House was well done and nice to imagine this was how they were built. Bit sceptical but well done anyway. The other barn like large room again nicely done .But based on Historical evidence unlikely in my humble opinion. A small collection of books deemed a library is stretching it a bit. No actual historical remains. Some copies of original ancient medicinal tools. Not a great deal to see apart from the two main buildings. Nice toilet for such an out of the way location. Not worth the 3km drive down the track , or the 5 euro admission fee.Far better traditional greek houses to visit for an authentic if not ancient feel for greek...
Read moreThe Botanical Garden portraying in part Kos history is run by Juli, who has operated this property for the past 15 years. It's a peaceful and very beautiful garden in which all herbs and plants mentioned by Hippocrates have been planted. The place hosts tourists and also medical students and local school students. The place is open until about 9 p.m. at night and also has a small gift store and drinks for thirsty throats. There is a small entry...

Maybe modern medicine could do a bit of a reset and start looking at the old remedies. May stop peoples allergies to goodness knows what. Well worth the visit and only 5...
