We stayed in Mochlos for four nights to relax by the pool (the sea is shallow off the shore so you can swim and snorkel too) and take in the wonderful oceans views. The highlight is walking down to the waterfront restaurants on the small rocky peninsular. Completally greek atmosphere...best food i ever ate in crete. Nice view..not a beach for swimming. But the local people r unbelieveble nice...

The highlight is walking down to the waterfront restaurants on the small rocky peninsular. Despite what I've read, this isn't a fishing village, so there's no fresh fish off the boat if that's what you're looking for.

Moor plek aan zee. Wel een stijle afdaling, maar zeer de moeite waard.

Nettes kleines Fischerdörfchen in toller Lage. Sehr gute Restaurants. Die Bucht ist, wie die meisten hier aus Steinen. Das Wasser sehr klar zum schnorcheln. Achtung, vorsicht beim herüber schwimmen zur vorgelagerten Insel, Agios. Je nach Wetter kann die See rau werden und die Strömung zwischen Festland und Insel sehr stark. Achtet auf die Flagge am Strand und hinweise der Bevölkerung.
