Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian Holy Monastery — Local services in Polygyros Municipality

My Wife and I visited this Spiritual Place Yesterday. Unfortunately I had shorts on. There was a sign in Greek and German saying that entrance with shorts for (Men) and Pants for(Women) was prohibited. Why not in other languages? I do not understand this rule to be honest. Out of respect we sadly did not enter and therefore could not see more than the entrance. It was okay though because we are staying at a nearby Hotel 😂. I will return to the Monastery. Das Kloster ist in jedem Fall einen Besuch wert. Wichtig hierbei, kurze Hosen sind tabu. Da wir alleine vor Ort waren haben wir jeweils eine Hose bzw. einen langen Wickelrock ausgeliehen bekommen. Ein sehr schöner Ausblick in einer idyllischen Atmosphäre. Uns wurde sogar ein Kaffee mit Keksen angeboten was wir dankend angenommen haben. Als Dank haben wir eine kleine Spende dort gelassen worum auch gebeten wird. Aber ich denke das sollte eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein. Wir haben viele Fotos gemacht welche ich aber hier nicht alle posten möchte. Ihr könnt mich auch gerne bei Instagram...

Πάρα πολύ ωραίο μοναστήρι με πολύ καλούς ψάλτες και υπέροχους μοναχούς...Μεγάλη ευλογία και κατάνυξη...απλά επειδή είναι εποχή ιώσεων θα έπρεπε ο κόσμος να είναι λίγο πιο προσεκτικός (με τον βήχα, το φτέρνισμα....), αυτοί πρέπει να φορούν μάσκα σε κλειστούς και συνωστισμένους χώρους για την προστασία όλων μας.......

Very nice monastery with very good singers and wonderful monks...Great blessing and comfort...just because it is a virus season people should be a little more careful (with coughing, sneezing...), they should to wear a mask in closed and crowded places for the protection of all...
