This is more of a regional airport than international. The only reason it is classified as international because they receive one small plane from Belize and another from Miami. Otherwise, this airport only flies flights to and from Guatemala City. The airport is small and it is just outside Flores/Santa Elena - costed us Q40 for a taxi with luggage for a one way trip to FRS, and it takes about 10 mins or less for the ride.

Don't even go there earlier as the airport doesn't open until 6am. You should have plenty of time if you get to the airport 1 hour before your boarding time for domestic flights.

The airport is structured like a regional airport - one small gift shop, one small counter for each airline. The immigration was speedy and customs was swift.

Passed the security there is a small cafe, washrooms, 4 gates, and cushioned seats. Washrooms, seats and floors are nicely cleaned. Of course, no water fountain to refill your water bottles. WiFi is available if you sign on "TAG-FRS wifi free" and sign on with a social media account - not fast, but adequate.

If you come early enough, you can watch sunrise and...

Great little airport. Each time we were here there were very few lines and were quickly brought through the check in process and security. There is a small cafe both before and after security. We found the prices and selection better actually after security. Great little Cafe, nice seating area as well. Free wifi with pretty good speed compared to some airports. Maybe a little chilly, we would recommend bringing a sweater. Very kind staff, easily accessible by water taxi with a short connection if you are staying on the lake. Also seemed like there were a good selection of drivers waiting when we landed here if you...

The guys in white shirts bothering you for a shuttle service apon exiting the airport will charge you 3 times the price! Find an taxi! The cost for transportation here in Flores is a big problem. They're going to charge tourist in action heroes three times the price! I'm not paying $1,000 US for a week's worth of tiny car rental that would only cost me 300 to 400 bucks! Tekal: The truth! Amazing, incredible potential but horrible maintenance and even less explaining! They want you to buy a guide...

Overview: Florez is full of overpriced limited options, they try their best to manipulate those options to gouge...

Pequeño pero bien atendido aeropuerto. Los baños limpios, aunque son insuficientes cuando llegan dos vuelos al mismo tiempo.
