We are seasoned travelers who care about sustainable food systems and preserving indigenous culinary know-how. So we are not easily impressed by industrial tourism and tours that feel unauthentic. Let me tell you, this was the highlight of our Guatemala trip and an exceptional personalized and passionate introduction to the world of the Little Green Farm. Michael, the owner, who manages the property with absolute brilliance and a care for every detail, is an inspiring and trend starting regenerative agriculture enthousiaste. He will pick you up and drop you off himself and would make sure you get hands on experience in the intricacies of coffee creation, tortilla cooking, and even Guacamole making! Read moreThis place is a GEM, must go see farm. Maykol (Michael) is an amazing farmer, host, and teacher. He picked us up from Casa Jade in Antigua (his wife’s store- check it out for jewelry making), and took us 15 minutes to his farm full of life. He had a variety of crops growing on the property ranging from coffee, avocado, and other fruit trees. He also had as chickens, ducks, and even a mini bee sanctuary where you can purchase some amazing pure honey. During our tour (tour activities may depend on the season) we learned and took part in making coffee from bean to drink, we fed chickens, saw his secret fertilizer goldmine, made tortillas to eat with fresh avacado, learned about his bees and honey. All the items for purchase are extremely well priced and the staff he employs are amazing. All...

The farm itself is a beautiful reflection of sustainability, tradition, and community. We loved learning about their approach to farming, tasting fresh ingredients, and hearing the stories behind everything they do. It’s clear that Mykol is passionate about preserving and sharing his culture, and it made our visit truly special.
If you’re looking for an authentic, immersive experience that goes beyond the typical tourist stops, this is it. Highly recommend visiting if you...
