Road closed, so we hiked from the cairns at bottom. Honestly with the elevation gain I thought it would be much more grueling, lower with grade of road, not to bad at all. Got to the top and found the observation deck under 15' of snow, and parking area well covered in snow. THE VIEWS WERE AMAZING. We were the only persons on the mountain and were amazed at each turn. Birds are nesting in the bluffs, and some spring flowers popping up. The area to right is still under a lot of snow. We were very cautious to stay back from edges as they could give way to the spring thaw at any time. Once in a lifetime experience on Bolafjall.

There is no signs for parking fee and only shows that you have to pay after you already park your car. It’s unreasonable to pay parking fee for a place which you only stay for 5 minutes and even no toilets around. Due to the bad signal around Bolafjall, we couldn’t pay. So we have to come up again for only paying the parking fee. Never come up if it’s expected not a good weather.

Die Straßen sind unbefestigt, und es gibt keine Leitplanken) und bietet unterwegs immer wieder herrliche Ausblicke auf die umliegende Landschaft. Der Aussichtspunkt selbst ist einfach spektakulär – der Blick auf die Landschaft und das glitzernde Wasser ist einfach unvergesslich. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Aussicht bei Sonnenaufgang, wenn die ersten Sonnenstrahlen die Landschaft in ein goldenes Licht tauchen. Alles in allem ist die Bolafjall Aussicht ein perfekter Ort für einen ruhigen Rückzugsort in der Natur und ein Highlight in der Region.

We were here in June 2019 evening and we had the whole place to ourselves. Vast Landscape, blue ocean, huge mountains with unmelted ice, all these made this place is looks so stunning, so is the road driving up here. The cliff road is narrow in some parts, but the gravel road is considered good quality gravel road, no issue for small cars to drive up. So long it is a clear day, this is...
