This area is just as stunning as the famous Blue Lagoon, and it's free! You'll find it in the same colour and location, but the difference is that you can explore it to your heart's content.

If you want to capture the incredible blue waters and walk along them among the black lava, there are a series of walking paths for you to follow and enjoy the experience to the fullest!

The entrance to the paths is easily accessible from the same parking lot as the famous Blue Lagoon.

Get ready for an incredible journey through lava fields that seem ancient, but are actually still evolving. For those who follow the vulcanic activity of this peninsula, it's clear that new lava could be forming very soon. It's...

This area is the same colour and location at the famous Blue Lagoon, except you can’t go in it, and it’s free. If you want to photograph the blue waters and walk along them among the black lava, there are a series of walking paths to follow where you can easily enjoy the experience. The entrance to the paths is accessible from the same parking lot as the famous and paid for Blue Lagoon. There is a sign and map showing the trails - it’s very easy to find. A visit here took us about 30-40 minutes including a leisurely stroll and stop for photos, and it was absolutely free. Blue Lagoon is man made as we all know it but still, your tour of Iceland won’t be complete if you’re not going to experience what Blue Lagoon has to offer, if you do not have a Car Rental and taking a bus from the Airport to the Boue Lagoon is easy, There’s a luggage storage for a FEE , Credit card are accepted of course, There’s a Locker By the shower room and it’s free so you can store your dry clothes, shoes and personal belongings . You can also purchase a package that will be included on your entrance fees based on your needs mid, towels, drinks and to name a few but just for the sake of experience. And creating...
