Khurmadera Beach — Local services in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

I recently visited with my husband for a relaxing getaway, and it was a delightful experience. This resort is a fantastic place to chill out with family, offering a serene and welcoming atmosphere.

One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful beach, which provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and enjoyment. The staff at the resort were exceptionally nice and attentive, making our stay even more pleasant.

We stayed overnight, and the room was impressive—spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The food quality was also excellent, with a variety of delicious options that made our dining experience enjoyable. Additionally, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for the quality provided.

Andamans is known for its pristine beaches. Today we visited one such beautiful beach in a place called ‘Khurmadera’, approximately 14 km away from Port Blair town.

People who have explored Andamans must be knowing that the coastline of Andaman Islands has Andaman Sea to the east and the Bay of Bengal towards its west. Many of its beaches are in its eastern side which touches the Andaman sea. But since Khurmadera beach is towards the western side of Andaman Islands, it’s coastline touches the Bay of Bengal.

If you wish to visit long, clean beaches and witness wonderful sunsets, then I would highly recommend this...

Beach is excellent but, Malabar multi cuisine restaurant's staff at this gate, charge 30rs/person saying the 100metere mud road ( which is final stage to the beach) is private property and no food is allowed to carry inside, they even check your car for food. They say they will allow alcohol/snacks but not food, so that people came eat at their restaurant. This is so illegal, Andaman govt laid that road and they have no rights , I've tried asking their name's, this person started to avoid showing his face on camera. Where can we complain about this issue Andaman tourism...
