I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a soul-stirring adventure to the enchanting land of Meghalaya with Cloud Nine Northeast, and I must say, it was an experience beyond imagination! From the moment I signed up for the trip to the moment I bid farewell to this captivating region, everything was meticulously planned and executed to perfection.

Right from the outset, the team at Cloud Nine Northeast showcased their professionalism and dedication. Their communication was prompt and informative, making sure that all my queries and concerns were addressed. They provided a detailed itinerary, allowing me to anticipate the adventure that awaited me. A testimonial to CLOUDNINE NORTHEAST... It was in mid September that we decided to let go of the shackles for a few days and live the hippie way of life, enough of the rat race and the monotony... We needed a break. Thus we decided to go trekking... and what better than the best trek in Northeast... the way to Dzukou Valley. I had seen in Instagram the amazing service provided by CloudNine NorthEast in touring the amazing places of NorthEast India and discovering her rich culture. We contacted CloudNine NorthEast and thus our date with Dzukou was fixed on 2, 3 and 4 October. . . We arrived at Dimapur Station on the morning of 2nd October. From there we were picked up by the CloudNine Northeast team and dropped at our Homestay at Kigwema Village, having had our lunch and visited the Naga Heritage Village at Kohima in the way. The Homestay was amazing and the owner played a lovely host. We had some amazing tea and went out venturing into the Kigwema village... places to see are the Japhu College, and the local market. We had some belly filling dinner at the Homestay... rice, local smoked pork curry dish and boiled veggies.

On October 3rd, after having breakfast we were taken to Viswema Village from where our trek started. Our Guide Kikoleto joined us on the way. Our trekking started at 10 am. It was a experience to stay for a lifetime... Kikoleto was a lovely guide... helping us with our luggage and keeping close eye on our safety. We reached the valley after 4 hours of trekking. Kikoleto arranged our stay at the dorm. We had our lunch and enjoyed the ambience with the 400 odd trekkers from all over India. The night was spent partying by the Bonfire. . Early next morning we went to the valley of flowers, around an hour from the campsite and enjoyed the breathtaking scenes of the valley, and took some treasured pictures... After having some tea amidst the sunkissed valley in the morning, We trekked back... through the Jakhama route this time... a 5 hour trek consisting of an hour of steep uphill climb and 4 hours of steep descent. This trek was the most difficult, yet the best. I thank CloudNine NorthEast for arranging this route as very few took the route. By the time we reached back at Jakhama Village, we had climbed up and down an entire mountain... we 4 and our guide Kikoleto.. a single group, the entire way amidst the dense canopy of the mountain... truly an experience to remember!! . . We were picked up at Jakhama and dropped at the Homestay... Kikoleto parted ways in between. Thanking him again for being such an amazing caretaker!! We had lunch at the homestay and freshened up. From there we were dropped off at Dimapur from where we caught the train back home... tired with aching body and shaky legs but with a treasure full of memories from the past 3 days. Thank you...

It was in the month of Aug 2022, we five friends decided to have a adventurous trip. A trip that we can cherish for a lifetime. We've shortlisted a few off-beat adventurous location out of which we finalised 'Dzukou Valley'. We decided to choose 'Cloudnine Northeast' reason being we got lots of good feedback from backpackers across the country and also i personally met the team. Jotting down my personal experience here:

1. tour was finalized in one call no follow ups required
2. after payment everything was well taken care off by team Cloudnine (everything right from train tickets, cab, stay, tour guide, food, etc .)
3. it was a complete package one can offer where we also got a chance to visit beautiful Khonoma village.
4. the homestay was great specially the food. I personally enjoyed every meal I had there
5. next morning our tour guide arrived at 7 am and we headed to the point where trekking starts
6. trek was a bit tough no question about it but the beauty of the location made us all move forward to unveal what's next ..
7. we stood there for a night in the dorm stay. Had the best time of our lives also the best sunrise and sunset view😍😍
