Edit: The smell of the sewer that cuts through the center of Global Village, now called Global City, had totally vanished during the lockdown. Yes, that's true. Sadly now, it's noticeably back. Lockdown did good to nature. Pollution that seemed like an impossibly wicked problem saw a ray of hope, but only for a while. Now with corporations and government forcing back the outdated physical office setup, that ray seems like it never existed.

Green , peaceful, well maintained, but very poorly connected due to narrow roads always under repair. Narrow roads always cause traffic jams. Now it's not just Siddharth's cafe coffee day, but a few other brands too have made their place here. One such interesting brand is Istta cafe. Rhymes with Insta cafe but means the Kannada white for "like" i e Istta (ಇಷ್ಟ). But what's unique about this brand is that it is owned and run by people with disabilities. The kind person who served me served perfectly fine and able to me, getting and serving with a smile. If not for the description on the wall, I would have never known! You'll get fresh air around the small park that is available inside!! You can play on the ground nearby. Mostly cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and running are performed in this ground.

On the Architectural perspective, Tanglin Development's buildings are too good! Especially the Arched Glass building occupied by Mindtree and Accenture!! Simple and well organised architectural style! Love the Accenture tower as well! So spacious site and building. There are pedestrian sitting benches, special water foundation structures, open air food court and many small niche buildings around the place.

Its located in outskirts of Kengeri city. If you have visited BGS, it's just opposite to it an about 1 KM away. Its a well maintained park but not to the tune of EGL or ECO Space or Cessna.. I could say the nearby locality is not developed much and may be the area is started growing just because of global village. No nearby restaurants or any good hotels. The worrying part is commuting to global village is headache.. You need to walk for a mile if you don't have personal vehicle if you are traveling either from front gate (RNSIT) or from back gate (BGS). Hope tech park will have frequent buses at least for people working there in some time interval from either sides.
