Amity University Online are Scammers – Beware!

I had a horrible experience with Amity University Online. I came across their ad on social media and received a call from their counselor after submitting my details on their website. He convinced me to take admission in the BCA program, even though I was still in Class 12, by saying that the university provides an undertaking form. He assured me that I could start classes and submit my documents later after my results were declared.

Based on his false promises, I paid the fee through a loan (Propelld as the lender). But once the payment was made, the counselor became unresponsive. After repeatedly asking about my admission confirmation, I was suddenly told that my admission could not be processed without my documents. When I reminded them about the undertaking form they promised, they simply said "sorry" and refused to proceed with my admission.

Since my admission was never confirmed, I requested a cancellation. The university canceled my admission request but unfairly deducted more than 21% of my total first-semester fee—even though I had never attended a single class! Despite months of emails and follow-ups, they refused to refund the deducted amount.

After struggling for 7-8 months, I finally filed a complaint with UGC, and only then did they return part of my money while keeping a portion without any justification. Additionally, I lost ₹3,000 because of my loan partner (Propelld), which I never received back.

Amity University Online is nothing but a money-making scam. They mislead students, make false promises, and then exploit them financially. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this university and not fall for...

Amity university online is fake , a scam Because here counsellors who are just graduated are kept and they don’t have much information about the courses , they just force students to take admission as they have to acheive their targets . They said that its last date you have to take admission if u want.

They do not provide any support at time of admission they do call after that they dont pick your calls they are so mean . I recommend everyone not to take admission in amity online its scam they just divert mind of students to acheive there goals.

I was provided wrong information by the counsellors and student support team gave different information. No one knows properly about course here.

The course which i enrolled for was bcom integrated with ACCA which is new here and no one has proper information regarding this course than why they have introduced this kind of courses just to spoil students carrier .

I recommend amity to give counsellors a proper knowledge training of every course which has been launched and they should give fair and proper veiw regarding classes , refund , everything about the course . They should not commit fake things . WHAT AMITY IS PAYING COUNSELLORS FOR just they want student admission only ? After admission there is no support in amity .

I am a pass-out from TEG COLLEGE, Singapore, yet during the MBA admission process in India, I had a very disappointing experience with counselor Mr. Parth Paliwal. Despite my qualification, he told me it wasn’t valid and assured me that he would “put a document” so I could secure admission.

After a month of repeated calls and follow-ups, he later suggested that I submit a fake marksheet to complete the admission process. This was highly unethical and unacceptable from someone representing such a reputed institution. Due to this, I was forced to cancel the admission.

To make matters worse, even though the fault was entirely with the counselor, my refund was unnecessarily delayed. I received it only after 3 months of continuous calls, complaints, and numerous emails to the support team. I got my refund after filing complaint to UGC.

Additionally i want to add that they don't have any internal communication with team. After sending mail for cancellation they called daily minimum 2-3 calls to submit documents.

Such unethical behavior and mismanagement are extremely disappointing for a university of Amity’s stature. I sincerely hope the management takes strict action to ensure no student has to face this again.
