The project would have been viable then when it was proposed but now when the ground water in Punjab is rapidly depleting, it seems nonsense and insensitive. Where the Punjab farmers should adopt alternative methods of irrigation and agriculture, the govts should assure them of fair prices. Also, if Haryana is also in dire need of water, Indian Govt. should divert the flow of Yamuna to meet their needs. Why deprive Punjab of her own waters and give Haryana a surplus? Why make Haryana green at the cost of Punjab. No personal hate with Haryana but does it look...

Punjab is already facing water deficiency so we can not share single drop of water the water Punjab is already sharing, we have'nt got a single dime for it which is against the repairian Law but...
