The Tomb of Shah Quli Khan is a historic monument located in Mehrauli, Delhi, India. It was built in the 16th century and is considered to be an excellent example of Mughal-era architecture.

Shah Quli Khan was a nobleman who served as the governor of Bengal during the reign of Emperor Akbar. He was also the son-in-law of the renowned Mughal general and statesman, Bairam Khan. The tomb was built in his memory after his death in 1597.

The tomb is made of red sandstone and features intricate carvings and detailed designs. The main structure is square-shaped with a large dome at the top. The interior of the tomb is also adorned with beautiful artwork and calligraphy.

Over the centuries, the Tomb of Shah Quli Khan fell into disrepair and was eventually abandoned. In the 20th century, the Archaeological Survey of India took over the site and began restoring it. Today, the tomb is open to the public and is a popular tourist attraction in Delhi.

This beautiful tomb was built by Shah Quil Khan himself in 1574-75 AD. Shah Quil Khan was the Governor of Narnaul during the reign of Mughal emperor Akbar (1556-1605 AD). He built this tomb in memory of his father but after his death, his mortal remains were also buried here.
