North Trail Himalaya — Local services in Himachal Pradesh

Almost made me HATE Manali. My friend and I took a 5N 6D package for 27K and the only places we visited were Clubhouse, Nature Park and Hadimba Temple. We we lured into this by showing 3 star rooms which were reaffirmed by the agent on call but we were only given a cottage which had no hot water and no water at all on the day of arrival (in freezing winter). The cottage was run by 2 young boys who knew nothing about room service or customer handling.

The driver used to pick us whenever he wished like and used to end the day usually by 4pm ( seriously).One day he didn't even come as he had to buy stuff from the market! We were forced to end the package on our 4th day and the whole mood of the trip changed ever since. The driver and the room boys became rude all of a sudden and started nagging us for the remaining money. We felt like we were being watched all the time.

The service was unprofessional and felt like a scam. We had Kasol, Manikaran and Tosh in our package but payed almost 23k for just local site seeing in Manali. We even paid for the rooms (extra)! God knows why someone would need their service for visiting all these places.

Take their package if you want an amazing experience of losing money and an exciting time of...

Probably one of the worst experiences I had. Paid 23K overall only to visit Hadimba Temple, Club house and Solang valley. The supposed Itinerary had plenty of other places where we were not even taken. The driver arrived when he wished and started hurrying us to come back fast by 4PM. We wanted a 6D 5N plan so Nagger Castle was added to out trip. Paid 2500 for the extra day. Since I was down with fever my friend went alone on that day. The driver arrived at 11:30 in the morning and he returned by 1:30 PM and said there was literally nothing to see there. 2500 extra for just 2 hours (hotel stay was extra). The package was handled so poorly that we cancelled our trip to Kasol and Tosh in order to save at least some money instead we would've had to pay 27K. Last day the driver was literally pressuring us into paying the remaining 9K. At one point we literally felt like a hostage. The food was bad, the hotel assigned didn't even have hot water which is a basic necessity during winters and the stay costed a laughable 1900 per day. Absolutely horrendous.
