Tashi Jong Khampagar is such a beautiful monastery and it's located in Himachal Pradesh. It's close to Baijnath temple which is approximately 4.5 kms and 15 kms from Palampur and the name of the village is Tashi Jong village. There is a direct bus from Kangra, Palampur, Pathankot, Kurukshetra, Delhi etc. Any bus which is going to Baijnath temple will drop you at main road of Tashi Jong. From the main road you have to walk for atleast 1.5 kms. There are two types of monasteries old and new. New monastery will come first then old monastery. If you are coming from Palampur then you have to get down after Taragarh. I am not sure the name of the village is correct but it's called as Dashi Road which comes after Taragarh. All the bus conductors knows this place. Tell them you want to visit Buddhist temple don't say monastery as they don't understand Monastery. There is no entry fee and parking facility is available. It's free of cost. They have a restaurant. You will find lots of food joints while going to monastery. Washroom is so neat and clean. You can visit all the days from morning to till 5-6pm.
