A Divine Retreat in Rikhiapeeth Ashram - The Tapobhumi of Swami Satyananda Saraswati
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rikhiapeeth Ashram is a divine haven nestled in a serene, rural setting, just 12 kilometers from Deoghar, Jharkhand. It is the sacred Tapobhumi of the renowned spiritual luminary, Paramahansa Satyananda. The ashram's vibrant ambiance welcomes sincere seekers from all walks of life to experience the true joy of living a Yogic lifestyle.
The focus at Rikhiapeeth is on selfless service (seva), making it an ideal place for those who wish to embody Yoga in their daily lives. Under the guidance of Peethadhishwari Swami Satyasangananda, the ashram offers various activities, from Yoga training and sadhana retreats to serving rural communities.
This ashram holds a special place in my heart, as it provides a holistic approach to Yoga and fosters an environment of peace and harmony. The teachings of Swami Satyananda and Swami Sivananda resonate deeply, making Rikhiapeeth a true spiritual gem.
For anyone seeking a transformative and detoxifying experience, Rikhiapeeth is the perfect destination to immerse yourself in Yoga while being of service to others.

Read moreI have been to this place for the first time. I can give 100 stars to this place. I cannot describe how the seva is conducted smoothly from a group of people who sometimes do not know a common language also. Some people are rich, some poor; they are black, brown, yellow, white; some are christians, some muslim, some Hindus; it does not matter at all. Kindness and love is apprciated by all. There is no fees or money for staying in the clean beautiful rooms of Ashram, there is no charge for the fresh, wholesome food there, the gifts everybody receives are wonderful!!! It is worth seeing how the people come running without invitation and how the people feel lucky to help by money, kind and doing seva physically and mostly how people feel sad to leave the paradise. There is no question of social work or charity; it is the good deed or good Karma we are doing for ourselves and a platform is provided for us here. If we donate money or things be sure that nothing is ever wasted or misused, it reaches the most needy people. I have done a lot of research and came to conclusion that this is the right place to donate and this is the right place to relax from...

This is where you should head to atleast once a year. Here's why.. I have been visiting this place from Bangalore at least once a year for the past five years. It's a real break, especially from stresses of usual life. It's a yearly recharge for me.
My rule there is simple, just follow the instructions given to you for seva (service), and do as much seva as possible with humility, trust, dedication and forget it once done.
I would recommend seva of at least a week. I feel strong effect mentally and physically at least for 1 or 2 months after I return. I think it's also a great place to train kids/ youngsters on the spirit of helping others. Good to start going here from a young age.I started at 27. It's fun n to be there. It works for me. You need to see if it...
