The trail is easy to follow, but there is a key junction to watch for about halfway through. At this point, the path splits: the left trail, marked by two large boulders forming a narrow passage, leads to a temple and a cave. Going straight will take you to the peak.

The trek is situated very remote place and google maps doesn't show the correct starting point. We had to take help from locals to find the start point which was an adventure in itself. This trek is listed in official Karnataka govt. Website . We bought the passes for it but after reaching there we found passes are not required.
