It was 3 years of desire to go to this place after seeing many Instagram posts and wedding photography in the lily field. Each year due to some reason it got delayed, it was almost like I was about to miss out 2020 too due to covid. When I browsed they had mentioned that malarikal is not open for tourism and then I came across this place. Ambattukadavu is in kottayam district. We started in the early morning itself from kochi. The flowers blossom at night and stands tall until sunrise so one should should be in the place between 6-8 am in the morning to see the water lily.
