Chowannur Cave โ A Childhood Story Come to Life
During my childhood, the Chowannur Cave was often a part of the stories we shared among friends. But I only got to see it in person after I reached 10th grade. Now, years later, my home is located very close to this very caveโa place I never imagined Iโd live near when I was younger.
Iโve heard from locals that, long ago, some ancient artifacts were taken from inside the cave by the archaeology department. Whether true or not, itโs a tale that still circulates in the area. Whatโs truly fascinating is that the place is still alive in local memoryโeven today, the nearby bus stop is popularly known as the โGuha Stop.โ
