Just like most parks in india this small park has been infiltrated by dirty couples sitting and kissing and doing other sexual stuffs openly. If you arevwith your family and kids, please do no go to this place. It will create a negative impressions in their mind. Also spoil your fun. Nothing special, but mostly it is swings, lot of swings. Nearby you can have a scenic beauty of pamba river. There is a trampoline for kids to jump and enjoy, which they charge extra. Also there is a small manual boating for kids in a small artificial pond. Best time for family to visit is after 5pm. Public transport to this place is available from chengannur.    Read moreThis place is great but has been closed down since the flood disaster and has not been reopened. However, local kids and men use the place for fishing as its along the river bank and is quite spacious with even some seats. Some of the playground items are still there like swings, etc, but due to the flood, the place is over run with dead leaves and heavy dried mud. When it rains, it could get quite slippery and sticky, but otherwise, it's a quiet and calm place. Once the park reopens, I am sure it would be family and kids friendly. You can even see the sun set (not at the horizon level though) at certain points...

Pampa is getting plastic coated bcoz of the people who visiting the place..though bins are placed for collecting wastes, visitors throwing bottles ,ice cream cups, plastic covers, and many other plastic and non plastic waste into river.No use in requesting or saying "Stop this..don't pollute our river"..it has to come from each one of you if you are a human who drink...
