Medappara Mountain — Local services in Kerala

Medappara is a village in Kozhikode District situated southeast of Poovaranthode and east of Ottaplavu.. It is located 38 KM towards East from District head quarters Kozhikode and 17 KM from Koduvally. From a long distance, the mountain looks like an elephant. You have to walk around 2 hours through the forest inorder to reach this place. The path might be fully covered with fog and the view from the top is amazing which make you to forget about the distance you traveled. Even though the location is marked on google maps, you may need to ask the locals inorder to find the exact route to Medappara.
