A complete hill where there is no regulations and we can freely walk through the hills. There is a lot to walk but the top scenery is so special. School students can conduct a one day camp. There is a lot to see there but the area is so isolated and there is no such directions or a halting place on the way to the top of the mountain. In rainy seasons you can see a lots of water ways starting from the upper area. It is more risky to reach on the top in the rainy seasons. You must carry enough water and snacks with you. There is only a single hotel on the bottom of the hill. If you need food, you must give an order before you start trekking, and the food will be made ready only as per the order. So if you are starting trekking in the morning and when you return back you will get a delicious lunch as per your order. All the vegetables are harvested from their own farm and you can have a no pesticide food. The way as we are climbing to the hill top is so risky as it is recommended to travel in groups. You will not get any food or a shadow on the way up and only thing you can experience is bare rocks and sunlight. Also you can see some water spots on the way. It is more risky to get back. That is returning from the hill is also risky as there is no indications and only thing you can see is a vast area of rock. So you will have a chance to lost the way hence it is said to travel in groups. The scenery that you can see at the top is incomparable but...

Meenuliyan Para (മീനുളിയന്‍ പാറ) is a mountain peak situated near Thodupuzha in idukki district, in the Indian state of Kerala. With an elevation about 4000 feet above sea level it is an ideal location for trekking and camping. Two acres of evergreen forest on the top of big rock gives an astonishing experience. Around 27 types of rare evergreen trees grow here and 8 of them are seen only here and under threat of extinction. Inside the forest at top there is ample space to put up a tent or set up a campfire. It is not a popular destination as of now but many people who venture to this place are seen to be dumping plastic wastes. Please do not contaminate the environment if you are planning for a trip to this beautiful place. There is a small shop at the base of the trek start point. An area for dumping waste is arranged over there. Please use this facility to throw out any plastic waste. Note: Do not rely only on the Google map location. It will not lead you to the trek point. Instead, ask the locals and there is a sign board on the way to lead you to the...

Trekking Lovely place ideal spot for trekking.Risky when raining if reach the top you wouldn't even forget the view. It's above 35kms surroundings. This is located on the vannappurem panchayat.we can see the half of the ernakulam...Beautiful and fascinating rock top near Venmani in the Vannappuram Panchayat of Idukki district, about 4000 feet above sea level. It is an ideal location for trekking. Two acres of evergreen forest on the top of big rock gives an incredible soothing experience. It is said that 27 types of rare evergreen trees grow here and 8 of them are seen here only under threat of extinction. The remains of 'Muniyara' or graveyard also can be seen here. Besides I came to know that Tigers, leopards, Elephants and Neelagiri Tahr were seen here till 1960. Meenulyan Para is also considered as a sacred place as very rare medicinal plants are seen here. The panoramic views around Meenuliyan Para is very beautiful and mind blowing. Now light food and water available at the base. so it is an unexplored attraction for one day tour...
