VALIYAPARAMBA Valiyaparamba is a Grama Panchayath from Kasaragod district in Northern Kerala. It is a place which is separated by backwaters from the shore of Trikkarippur. This island is the most recent tourist attraction of Kasaragod tourism map and providing a unique travel experience for tourists. The island is connected to the land by two bridges from Cheruvathur and Trikkarippur. Major routes are Kannur-Trikkarippur (those who are coming through Kannur) and Kasaragod - Cheruvathur (those who are coming through Kasaragod). Travelers can easily reach the island via these routs.

The most beautiful attraction of Valiyaparamba is its clean beach. The sunset view from here is pleasing to eyes. Those who enter the Valiyaparamba via Trikkarippur will first reach a small island called the Edayilakkadu. It is a small forest (Sarppakavu) surrounded by huge trees and animals earlier. Now, only few monkeys remains. Edakkadu and Trikkarippur are connected through a check dam, a ride on this is really dazzling and exciting. Another exciting experience of Valiyaparamba travel is canoeing in backwater. "A meeting place of lakes and sea is mesmerizing but which is the place that's very dangerous and scary place, even for the local people. Careful attention to be taken. Bus service: Bus from Payyannur, Cheruvathur, and Trikkarippur are available to Valiyaparamba from 5:30 am onwards. Boat services: though they have a bridge, islanders still depend on the boat service. There are three to four boats are providing services per day. Railway Station: Trikkarippur (5 km away) / Cheruvathur (10 km away). Airport: Mangalore International Airport is about 96 km. | The Kozhikode international airport is about 135 km away.
