This is the perfect place to relax!

"Unfortunately my holiday has come to an end..." This is what I was thinking the entire time i was travelling back from Vayas Wellness Resort Attapadi, I really want to say a few words about my experience when I lived in this place.

Vayas Wellness Resort Attapadi is a new Ayur Wellness resort situated at Attapadi with a breath-taking sightseeing of nature.The area is about 65 acres and it's breathtaking view automatically relaxes you when you arrive.The area is super safe, Hygienic and quiet, surrounded by the nature.You can always hear the sound of the birds from the forest.We had booked a Private Bliss Mountain Villa which is marvelous and huge delux room with spacious bathroom.

We found the room to be very clean, comfortable and I was very surprised to find so many accessories available to the customers for the stay. As an example, they provide the Grooming kit, Dental kit a hair drier, a kettle to make tea or coffee, a small fridge, a private safe, and much more; so if you forgot anything, don't worry, they will always be there to assist with your small needs.

There employees are well trained and they really know how to behave with their customers. I must admit their dedication to their customers goes more than what a 5 star hotel can provide in many parts of the world. I felt very highly looked after, and I could see that they have the same approach with every customer they have who are staying in their villas.

We reached at 4pm and met Jesna a very helpful receptionist and who welcomed us and did all the formalities and we were told to meet Mr.Edwin at 5:30pm at the reception for a surprise.The surprise was to take us to a trekking spot which is also a Sunset viewpoint. We clicked lot of photos on the way and back from this spot and we could see their own private farm on the way (Apples,Orange,Sapota farms).Mr.Edwin who took us in their private Vayas Jeep also let us take few photos posing infront of the Jeep and before trekking he explained us about the precautions we must take on our way. This trekking comes part of the package.

Mr.Anil and Mr.Nandhakumar, who are the administration managers of this place, took good care of our meals and made sure we had the best experience of what real local food is!

There is rope led Raft also known as "Changadam" which I haven't experienced in any other resort.This is available in the lake near the park.You can also see ducks swimming with you when you are in the raft. They also have a farm with Rabbits and Ducks. Thanks to Jitesh for showing this.

This place also has a shuttlecock court and a kids play area if you want to spend some quality time with your kids.

Now to talk about the important thing I must mention here is their Delicious food which is FREE with their accomodation. YES guys..! You heard it right..The Food is Free.

Last but not the least, don't miss their special massage therapy at Ayurmana! You can get treated with a 2 hour therapy, made of a body restoring massage and a full body massage.You have an in house Doctor Dr.Gopika who is very friendly and helpful too who guided us with what massages we need.They also have combo and 50% discount if you visit now.The Ayur therapy specialist in Vayas has 18 years of experience in this field.The 2 hours of rejuvenation and wellness for the body and soul is like a refreshing experience you will really appreciate. Thanks to Dr.Gopika and Varsha to introduce the Ayurmana to us.

I highly recommend Vayas Resort because of its honesty, kindness, Hospitality,Kids friendly, cleanliness, fair prices, Free and Quality Food, Amazing view, quietness, it has everything!

We experienced the Pinnacle of Joy at Vayas Holistic Wellness Resort. It was all like a Dream...like a La Shangri la ..sheer peace of mind on top of the mountains.

From Coimbatore take the Anaikatti route, from there use Google maps to Mundanpara where Vayas is located. 12 beautiful cottages or sky villas ,each one with an exclusive view. Rooms are huge 15'x20', wood finish with fullglass French window with the perfect panorama. Bathrooms spotlessly clean, mattresses are superior offering quality sleep,good WiFi, waterheater/coffee &tea

A gazebo view point blows you away with high windspeed. The soil is rich and gardens are flowering profusely. There's lot of entertainment.... An infinity pool facing mountains(not ready), Rain dance junction, indoor games. A free jeep ride takes you to an awesome viewpoint from where you can see 360degrees. Drive to reception and checkout the Lakearea, fishing pond, playcourt, chidrenspark There's a conference hall too for corporates.

The Ayurmana is a must see with a sprinkler kalpavriksha tree in the centre. Every possible ayurveda treatments are available for all ailments with separate ladies & gents massage rooms with steambaths. An expert Yoga teacher PremaLataji taught us various postures of Yoga 7am-8am ( at no cost) peacocks swarm the area as you learn yoga.

There are some amazing plans on the drawing board like Azure cottage, Camping area and entertainment zone

Gen Mgr. Shihabji is courteous,kind & busy striving to do everything possible for smooth running of resort. Anil Kumar is 'the man' to look for...a bundle of talent and never gets tired of hospitality services...he's your best bet. Chef Shibu prepares mouthwatering,yummy dishes and you feel sorry you can eat only this much. Dilesh,Jitesh and many others are waiting to help in any way possible.

Take my word...I've been to over 5dozen resorts in remote areas/hillstations/ beachside but could not find any as meditative and relaxed as Vayas Holistic Wellness Resort. I returned rejuvenated even without taking any treatment. There's no doubt whatsoever that you will have the most memorable time you've ever had in ANY resort. Trust me!

Treatments are expensive but there's a 50pc discount for Indian nationals. Book well in advance to avoid disappointment since foreign nationals come in groups too. You also have 3category of rooms & villas depending on size,view, facilities.All rates are inclusive of all 3meals and evening snacks & coffee

I am sure i will use this as my secret hideout for relaxation & rejuvenation Please do give it a try...seeing is believing!...

Vayas is perhaps one of the best resorts we've stayed so far. Once inside the resort you won't feel like going out. The scenic view of mountains and forest from the resort and from inside the room is amazing. The rooms are neat & well maintained. They provided excellent food in ample quantity. They have a well maintained infinity pool. We tried Kayaking for the first time in our life. We didn't have enough time to visit their Ayurveda department.

The CEO Mr. Shihabudheen & the Manager Mr Anil were keen to see that we remained happy during our stay there. They have a team of very dedicated staff under the able leadership of Mr Anil.

It won't be fair on our part if we don't mention about 2 not so usual difficulties the management faced during our stay. The 1st one: when we checked in, fire was spreading at the adjacent area covered by dry grass. We realized that it wasn't an easy job to put out the fire and thought our stay would be spoiled. But to our surprise, within an hour or two the staff, along with Mr. Anil, put out the fire. We watched from our rooms their hard work to stop the fire from spreading further and extinguish the blaze.

The 2nd difficulty they faced was: the next day after we checked in was election day. Mr Shihabudheen and Mr Anil had to see that all staff exercised their franchise. Some of the staff had to be relieved of their duties on the day we checked in and the rest on the day we checked out - the election day. This problem was very efficiently dealt with by Mr. Anil. He not only saw to that all the staff left the resort at appropriate times to exercise their voting rights but also saw to that the guests remained comfortable in spite of the absence of so many staff. He took us for a ride in a raft in the pond, remained near the pond to see we safely finished kayaking, got the swimming pool ready for our use, served us food at the right time ... just to mention a few things he did to make our stay a memorable one.

Vayas is certainly one of the very few resorts where the guests would prefer to come back again and again. Our friend Ramdas, who suggested Vayas, has already stayed there 4 or 5 times. We definitely will go back at the earliest. We've already started recommending Vayas to...
