Joyee bridge newly formed to connect Mekhliganj and Haldibari. The bridge save near about 40 mins to reach Haldibari from Mekhliganj, the Blocks of CoochBehar. Previously the people went to Halbari from Mekhliganj, Changrabandha or other places from CoochBehar via Jalpaiguri town. The bridge is about 1 km long and established over Teesta River.

Longest bridge in west Bengal ...its really nice ..its built over the tiesta river ..However, authorities should put in more effort to control pedestrians and taking of photos on the bridge .....As the drdge is not very wide...people should be more careful while stopping on the bridge ..stopping and photshooting ,even pedestrians should be prohibited to avoid any unfortunate...
