The water then overflow through the opposite end of the kunda, into the jungle to form a tiny mountain river. A temple is build just beside the top end of the waterfall. To reach the temple,one need to climb nearly half a kilometre through concrete steps. As a whole, a nice experience. But there is a big disappointment. Though the temple is well within the Simlipal national forest, there is no check or consciousness of making the place plastic free. Read moreThis kund (water body) is located deep inside the forest. Approximately 1.5km from the parking spot lies this kund. The road is quite good but there are no food stalls or water dispensers present so carry your own food and water bottles. And my request to everyone is to not litter the surroundings. This place is a devotional place for hindus. And just beside the kund a steep flight of stairs leads to a temple which is located on the hill top.
