I recently visited the Amagarh Leopard Safari in Jaipur, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. Here's why:
Poor Ticket Management: The biggest issue is the lack of an online ticketing system. All bookings are handled over telephone or WhatsApp, which is highly unorganized. I initially booked for Jhalana Safari, but later I was informed it was full and was offered Amagarh instead. This last-minute change felt misleading and unprofessional.
False Promises About Wildlife Sightings: During the booking, I was assured by my contact person, Ajay, that Amagarh Reserve was a great option with 15–16 leopards in the area. However, to my surprise and disappointment, I couldn’t spot a single leopard, deer, nilgai, squirrel, or any other animal except for a few birds. The claims made to attract visitors felt exaggerated and misleading.
Limited Safari Coverage: The reserve has very few viewing points, covering only a 1–2 km stretch, most of which is close to residential areas. The sound of passing vehicles from the nearby roads ruins any sense of being in a proper jungle. The safari drivers tend to park at specific points, claiming a leopard just passed by and urging visitors to wait, which seems more like a stalling tactic than a genuine effort.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise others not to waste their time and money on this safari. Unless major improvements are made to ticketing, transparency, and the overall experience, this reserve falls far short of expectations....
Read moreI want to express my dissatisfaction with the leopard safari that we've done @amagarh gate. Despite booking for a full safari experience, we was disappointed to find that we did not see any leopards or a variety of other animals as we had hoped.
Furthermore, our ride ended much earlier than the time we had booked for, leaving us feeling as though we did not receive the full value for our money, we reached the hotel at 8:25 although it was supposed to end at 8:45 without counting the back trip time.
I understand that wildlife can be unpredictable, but I expected that they would have taken measures to ensure that we would at least see some wild animals during our ride, although the driver did his best in this aspect.
It's too boring, I don't...
Read moreWorst experience, waste of time and money. They say it's a 2 hour safari but won't even complete 1.5 hours. Online booking is a scam, they will charge you foreigners rate which is 1200 per person. The person taking online booking is a thief and a fraud, charged us 1200 per person rate where actual rate is 700 per person. No matter how many seats you book, they will charge you for the entire gypsy at the end saying the seats were vacant. We found 4 other families who were interested in clubbing but they didn't do it. It's a scam. Last but not the least, no sightings at all only peacocks. There is no authority to look into the scam that these...
