Purple Orchid -The farm — Local services in Telangana

We stayed here around 5-6 weeks ago. While the property is spacious and has a nice ambiance, it's a bit far from the city, which comes with its own set of challenges.

Pros: The property is spacious with a pleasant ambiance and a small swimming pool. Offers indoor games like Table Tennis and Badminton along with large kitchen and hall, great for gatherings.

Cons: Power cuts occur frequently. There is a generator, but it often lacks fuel and is turned off at night. The road leading to the property was closed, and we weren’t informed in advance. Without a personal vehicle, it’s challenging to get food or transportation as the property is in a remote area. The nearest restaurant is 5-6 km away, and Zomato only delivers from locations around 20 km away. Some furniture was broken, including the bathroom door and handles. Geysers didn't work properly. Insufficient vessels in the kitchen, with no arrangements for food provided. Difficult to find cabs in the area. Staff was rude and refused to let us use the Activa to bring food from the nearby village.

We recently stayed at Purple Orchid in Moinabad. The farmhouse itself was clean and spacious, and the main pool was well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, our overall experience was quite disappointing due to a few serious concerns.

The most frustrating part was that the main power supply was deliberately switched off by the caretaker at 6:30 AM, without any prior intimation. After a late night, most of us were still asleep, but the sudden loss of power forced everyone to wake up uncomfortably early. Even worse, the power was only turned back on around 10:30–11 AM, just as we were packing up to leave. This felt careless and disrespectful to guests who were still in the middle of their stay.

Additionally, the kids' pool was not clean, and the hall had no curtains, which compromised our privacy, especially with the caretaker frequently around. The caretaker was also not very active or responsive, which added to the discomfort.

The property has potential, but the guest experience needs serious improvement—especially in terms of basic courtesy and communication. We hope the management takes this...

Guys this villa is a scam. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE as this place looks like it has everything like mentioned in the Instagram videos and in their brochure but there is nothing here. (Iravaiyedu velu bokka bhayya). The stay has two phases power supply of which when we enter both the phases works.. after few hours they will either switch off one phase power supply intentionally and say that only one phase is working. If only single phase is working then the generator should switch on automatically. We have to keep on calling them for everything even at night 3am also. Even the fans also not working, AC not working, No geyser for two bathrooms, no doormats, no soap in bathroom..
