Gokul's — Local services in Uttar Pradesh

I went there last week and ordered 2 samosas for packing, took few sweets and started waiting for samosas... And waiting and waiting and waiting... They took almost half n hour to give me 2 samosas ! I went to the counter to ask how much more time it will take I was surprised to see samosas were already prepared and they were given to some zomato/swiggy customer who ordered 10 samosas !! Now they asked me to wait even more I got pissed off and went to counter to cancel my order but the billing person did not even cancel my order. After a lot of talks I hot my samosas after another 10 minutes. Total of 40 mins gone in waiting for 2 samosas! I got late for some work by 40 mins ! The shop was almost empty that time and a lot of attendants were there at the counters. Still so much late delivery.

Food quality: The samomas were extremely spicy and they didn't tell me they are giving me spicy items. The sweets were ok. I feel the cooking material they use for frying is not of good quality at all. Overall very average experience in terms of quality.

There was a time, back in the 90s and early 2000s, when this shop in Meerut was renowned as one of the best. Founded by a genuinely respectable individual, it earned a stellar reputation. However, in recent years, things have taken a turn for the worse. The founder's sons have assumed ownership of the shop, but unfortunately, their demeanor has soured. They've become known for their rudeness towards customers.

Gokul had the potential to become a renowned brand by now, but the mismanagement and poor conduct have hindered its progress. However, there seems to be a glimmer of hope on the horizon. The shop is undergoing renovations and restructuring. Perhaps with these changes, there's a chance that things will improve. It's a time of anticipation, with the possibility that Gokul will reclaim its former glory and once again be celebrated as a beacon of quality and...

Long time ago this is best sweet shop in Meerut but at a time quality of sweet is not up to the mark. Taste of sweet is not too good. Usually you can get this type of taste normal sweet shop. In past time Gokul sweet have USP in sweet but present time you will not satisfy with quality and taste. Limited variety of Sweet and price are higher as per quality. Desi ghee used in sweet but quality of desi ghee is not good. It's my personal experience. So do not take it final someone may have different experience so please check...
