Read moreIts a really nice place to visit for picnic, but not for staying. They place is still developing, there are no hotels or resorts surrounding the lake. Few hotel are under construction. For food, there are no shops around atleast for a 5km radius. I went on the 21st of January 2017 on my Maruti Suzuki Baleno via Madhukunda Station. The road around the station is really horrible. The road is full of craters, so try taking an SUV. But, yes, its just for about a km, then you pass through a cement plant, where the road is not as bad as around the station. After passing the cement plant, its a nice road passing through the agricultural land and then through baranti village. Once you reach the place, it a real joy.
