Jamuni Bridge — Local services in West Bengal

Jamuni is located 14-15 km from darjeeling and about 9-10 km from jorthang(sikkim) you can came from both way. U can find awesome view of shiva statue, bridge, and river, and little solar power panel station together. I am giving 1 star less to this place because the artificial pond which is near the shiva statue is not well maintained. I would recommend to come to this place with family and friends at least once.

Note- there is not much facilities like hospitality, homestay, are available but u can find these service at place called "goke" About 2km from jamuni bridge. If ur vechile has some problem u can call kapil motor garage they will come and definitely will...

This place (MUKTI BRIDGE) was emerged and developed during the reign of Subash Ghising G.N.L.F. leader along with Bimal Gurung who was councillor of the Tukvar valley. Earlier people used to go to the spot by foot as there was no proper road for vehicle. At Jamuni Bridge many programs are held during the month of January (i.e, during Maghey Sankranti).
