If there will be a option for( - 5) star I will recommended that for this place. Don't be motivated by the pictures the property is really very different.

This is just a small congested area.Not a resort type just a typical park nothing more than that . Don't go there with kids. If you don't opted for tents or cottages there are just few benches.. But this is the heaven for couples as there are arrangements of tents and cottages. But if you are going there for the nature I will suggest at least don't go there this is just horrible place and this will lead waste of money and time. The way that leads to this place is terrible. Muddy even in non moonsonal day.. Think about a rainy day.. You will come back home with loads of clay sticking here and there. There are lots of ants, insects roaming here and there. Just a third class property with third class staffs.

And coming to the most terrible experience that is our lunch. We went there for spending some quality time. The worst decision for us is to order food from this restaurant. We ordered at 2pm. They said to come after 40 min. When we went there and told them to serve the food in the table they said that wait for sometime the food is not ready. Then they said the rice you ordered is not available. We asked them if we wait can you be able to prepare it. Our way of talking is so polite but the guy who is in reception replied "sararat bose thakleo paben na ".. Is this a sign of professionalism. At 3'o clock when we were so much hungry and wished the food in our table this was the behaviour what we get. . They were not even ashamed of their behaviour. At last they confessed that they made a mistake not to send our food order to the so called chef but with a arrogant attitude. And they were talking among themselves to prove this as a genuine act. OK then we waited for extra 30 min already 1.30 hr passed It was about 3.35pm when the food came.. We were all hungry. But the food is wakkkk!!!! 😵😵😵😵😵😵... We ordered lemon chicken and garlic chicken. And fried rice.. The rice is mixed with normal plain rice that we usually eat in our home.. You can clearly see that in the images.

The staffs are so so so so unprofessional.. They don't have a minimum idea how to deal with the customers. They behaved like they are giving us treat with their money and we eat them at free of cost..

Just 1 suggestion don't go there please.. If you want to enjoy the serenity of nature this is not a perfect place. Ek kothai...

Mallika Bon Eco Resort is situated at Gournagar Ghat, Chakdah. Though it's name is resort, but actually it serves as restaurant. You can pass your family time with children for couple of hours here. Entire area is roughly 1 bigha with couple of trees, flower garden and small open huts around the area. You can sit here with your friends, family members and enjoy kitty party. Probably you will take snacks, tea & coffee, Chowmin, Egg Roll, moghlai, chicken recipes here (most probably today will inaugurate). Neat and clean washroom is available here. A large group can hire this place for picnic and enjoy the whole day.

This place is just beside the hooghly river. Naturally you will enjoy sunset at hooghly river in the afternoon (Best time 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM) from here. You can also hire boat for roaming through the river and visit Poradanga Temple and Mukunda Nagar Temple (those places are also beautiful) and feel fresh air and lush green nature around you. Also you can put your footstep upon newly formed delta within the river. That will be an amazing experience if you are nature lover.

Gour Nagar Ghat is roughly 3.5 km away fro Chakdah 1 No railway platform. Only Toto service is available. Road condition is bad. They charge @Rs. 20 per head. No need to reserve. Toto is available at Gpurnagar ghat also.

It's a very small property. The approach road from chakdah railway gate is narrow, even when you enter in the property that's not approachable for any 4 wheeler. The road is covered by mud n water but that day was not raining at all. Then we approached into the property n what we see tha size of the room it's not more than 10 foot x 10 foot. The room is made by bumboo chatai (which is known as bera in Bengali), nothing more than that. The rooms amenities were one cooler, one wall mounted fan, which cannot covered for all the people in the room. The chatai has many holes n the chatai door has no proper locking from inside. The bathroom was not cleaned, all previous used soap were kept side by side. The bedsheet was not fresh as it is used many times. There is no other amenities in the room like no TV, no AC, no geaser, no tubelight, no exhaust at bathroom, no hanger, no almirah, no mirror, no rack, no ceiling fan, only you can see chatai all around the 10x10 ft room. The mosquito n flies were all with us. The dining has flies around the foods, asked them to spread phenyl, but action not been taken till our leave. We saw number of couples coming for day out. We didn't see any family over there. We booked 2 rooms @2500/- for each, which was very high compare to the amenities n the room ambience. Overall we returned with a very very...
