I visited the place in the year 2011. Actually it was the 3rd leg of our tour to Kolakham and Rishop. Really it is a hidden place loaded with many features of tourists attractions and not much talked about. It is located very close to the entry point of South Sikkim through Old Silk Route. Actually you have to enter little bit in to the state of Sikkim crossing the check post to reach the place. This place is comfortable even in winter season as its altitude is low. From mid of June till the monsoon season is over should be avoided because of stormy wind and possiblity of flash flood along the river. Our visit was in the first half of june stayed in a cottege located at end point of the small valley after second time crossing the river through a narrow foot bridge available at that time. I can remember that we had a joyful splash for two hours in the stonny clear water river. In the late afternoon suddenly a heavy storm followed by heavy shower made us so frightened that we thaught that we may have chosen a wrong time. The care taker told us that you are the last visitor of this season. Thank god after an hour or two the rain stopped but by then night has already spread all over the small valley surrounded by steep mountains covered by huge trees. Loud sound of numerous fountains and the swift flowing Rishi river coupled with high pitched sound of grass hopper type creatures rendered us speechless and gave us a never before experience. Now more surprise was waiting for us - slowly the sky got cleared and a huge moon appeared - entire valley got flooded with generous moon light. We spent till late night under open sky bething in the moon light, singing songs and got amazed by the mesmerizing beauty of the valley. So I recommend that if possible one should plan to visit this place...
