in my personal opinion, I prefer do trekking on the hill and after that do snorkeling here.
the sands quiet white even tho not too white as in Taka Makassar.
But for 'warming up' your trip before visiting another island such as Padar, trekking on Kelor Hill would be helping you a lot.
You also can buy some noodles , coffee, soft drink and snacks things here.
I hope they upgrading something to a bit 'heavy food' than only simple things such as noodles or indomie.
