Nice place for relieve stress, only 1 hour from Padang city, you can take a boat ride for 60K to 100K IDR per person from sungai pisang port, literally everybody will help you to ride to the island, just bargain the price if it too expensive, for example at very first i was at 200K IDR price, but after discussing more it can go down to 100K IDR, if u bring your minang-speaking friends then you can negotiate it more... At the boat ride there is no safety so use at your own risk.. At the island everything are OK, the white sand amazingly clean, the area itself is also clean since there are plenty trash bin everywhere but yeah u can still see trash laying on the ground :/, the toilet a little bit unclean, the tap water quality is also questionable, there is a food stall on the island selling drinks and quite cheap, mineral water bottle charged for 10K IDR, instant sosro tea (cold) 10K IDR, instant noodles 10K IDR, fried rice 20K IDR, musholla/prayer area also there.. there is no limit on the island, you just ask the boat driver whenever you done on the island, they will pick u up later.. for tsunami there is a 50 meter hill behind the island you can take emergency there.. this island is quite friendly to kids so you can brings your kiddo, don't go at weekend, and last, on this island is only Telkomsel...

The location is potentially beautiful, however it was really sad to see how polluted the beach (and the island in general) is. From a distance it looks amazing, but from closeby it looks like a landfill.

Local staff seems not doing anything about it and more focused on collecting about entree fees, while they should be investing in keeping the island maintained, tidied and clean from plastic, litter and other rubbish.

There is a route to the top of the island which is worth while, but it's pretty dangerous. They should make it easier and more safe to get there; eventually someone will...

Pulau pasumpahan adalah salah satu destinasi liburan dari bnyak pulau yang indah di sumatra barat, ada berbagai macam pilihan jika ingin pergi ke pulau ini.. tapi yang paling populer dan termudah adalah dengan naik kapal dari bungus, kota padang.. lebih tepatnya di sungai pisang, disana terdapat bnyak pemilik kapal yang di olah warga sekitar. Untuk harga berangkat sekitar 60-70 ribu perorang.. kalian bisa di antar ke pulang pasumpahan, sirandah atau pulau terdekat disana.. kalau fasilitas lain seperti makan, bananaboat, snorkling dana ny terpisah.. kalian bisa menginap disana dengan mendrikan tenda.. tidak ada limit waktu untuk berkemah disana.. kapal tidak perlu d bayar lagi jika kalian menginap dan kalian bisa menelpon pemilik kapal jika ingin kembali pulang.. apa yang bisa d nikmati di pasumpahan? Banyak sekali.. kalian bisa menikmati pulau yang indah, berfoto dengan hasil yg sangat memuaskan, volley pantai, snorkling.. untuk banana boat kalian harus ke pulau sirandah, berkemah, dan yang paling wajib kalian kunjungi adalah bukit yang berada d belakng pulau.. track ny agak sedikit berbahaya dan hanya ada tali buat naik.. tapi jika kalian sudah ada di atas kalian bisa menikmati indah ny laut dan pulau dan tentuny hasil foto yg ciamik.. dan kalian boleh berkemah diatas.. untung yang nyalinya tinggi saja.. owh ya untuk mkan disana ada warung juga.....
