Tanjung Bajau has a nice clean beach, a hill to overlook singkawang and a zoo/aquarium.

The beach is quite clean compared to other beaches in singkawang. There is a shower area for people to clean themselves. The hill allows visitor to use vehicle to travel up to the top to see some nice view.

However, the place is still under construction. You can see the remains of an old theme park. The aquarium / zoo was very rundown. The animal looks depressed. The aquarium and zoo was still under construction and it's so dark and dirty.

Some of the animals were domestic animals like dogs which were kept in small spaces. Sharks, stingray and a seaturtle were kept together in a small pond.

Overall, I love the beach and the view from the hill but I don't like how rundown the other facilities are. I found them treating the animals poorly and the price of the ticket is very expensive. One person is 40,000 rupiah.

If you don't mind spending that kind of money to see the beach and the hill then that's ok. But the rest is...
