Gili Nanggu is one of the most fantastic islands I ever been. Unfortunately, you find allot of garbage on the beach (even you have to pay 5.000 IDR per person to a dubious person who was saying that he cleans the island everyday)... This is a typical problem in Indonesia. If this wouldn't be the case I would give this island 5 from 5 stars. The beach where the most people stay is during the daytime a little crowded but clean and still a great experiance.
The snorkeling was one of my best snorkel experiance. You can see hundreds of colourful fishes of all kind.
The corals are also still very beautiful and colourful. The also try to farm them on the ground.

The crystal clear of the water allowed us to see everything beneath, which made us amazed by its beauty. Even though we came after 4pm, when the tide up, our guide managed to catch the right spot where many little fish live. But still, we needed to swim further to grab that view and did little struggle against the stream that brought us back to the seashore. The perfect timing to swim here is by morning, however, it would be...
