Located in West Sumbawa, Gili Bedil may not as famous as Gili Trawangan or another Gili in Lombok. In Indonesian, "gili" means small island. You can find a lot of gili spreading around my country Indonesia. If you want to find off-beaten-path gili, peaceful, and not-so-crowded beach, Gili Bedil is one of the best recommendation. If you are from Lombok, you can go to East Lombok by rent a car or motorcycle. Drive your vehicle to Kayangan Harbor. Then take a ferry boat Pototano Harbor, West Sumbawa. Next be ready to drive to Utan District. There are two accesses to go to Gili Bedil, which is by boat from Labuan Pade or Labuan Bajo. To rent a boat, you can go directly to Labuan Bajo or Labuan Pade, without having an order in advance. There are many of fishing boats that will take visitors to Gili Bedil and its surroundings. It didn't take long to cross from Labuan Pade to Gili Bedil, just around 15 minutes. Arriving at Gili Bedil you will immediately welcomed by a special islander. He is an adorable yellow white cat named Bedil. Snorkeling spot on Gili Bedil not far from the beach. The coral is quite colorful, but the fish is less diverse.

Pulaunya masih murni alias belum banyak didatangi oleh wisatawan. Pulaunya sangat kecil sehingga hanya membuuhkan waktu 5 menit saja untuk mengitari keseluruhan pulau ini. Pulau ini berbentuk peluru, sehingga warga setempat menamai pulau ini dengan Pulau Bedil. Namun, pesan bagi wisatawan yang mengunjungi pulau ini. Sampah jangan dibuang sembarangan. Mohon dijaga lingkungannya sehingga pulau ini tetap lestari dan bisa dinikmati dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama.

Salah satu pulau yang indah di Sumbawa. Pemandangannya cantik dan masih alami. Pantainya bersih dan jernih dan pasirnya putih. Kalian bisa berenang sambil snorkeling di pantainya. Banyak spot foto yang keren juga di pulau ini. Suasana pulaunya aman dan nyaman. Untuk menuju pulau ini, kalian bisa menyewa perahu dari kawasan Labuhan Bajo, Utan. Kalau ke sini jangan lupa bawa bekal makanan dan minuman sendiri ya. Pulau ini pas sebagai tempat untuk piknik bersama teman teman.

Gili Bola atau masyarakat setempat biasa menyebutnya dengan Pulau Bedil merupakan salah satu pulau dari sekian banyak pulau kecil di Pulau Sumbawa. Terletak di Desa Labu Pade, Kecamatan Utan, Sumbawa , untuk menuju Gili Bola anda harus berkendara sekitar satu setengah jam dari Kota Sumbawa Besar. Petunjuknya adalah anda tinggal mengikuti saja jalan negara yang mengarah ke Pelabuhan Poto Tano (pelabuhan penyebrangan ke Pulau Lombok) kemudian di ujung Kecamatan Utan anda mencari pertigaan menuju Labuan Pade. Untuk menuju Gili Bola anda bisa melalui salah satu dari dua tempat, bisa melalui Labuan Pade atau Laboan Bajo. Jika melalui Labuan Pade anda akan menggunakan boat dengan standar pariwisata yang memang dikhususkan untuk mengantar wisatawan yang ingin mengunjungi Gili Bola. Tentu dengan harga yang lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan Labuan Bajo karena di Laboan Bajo anda menggunakan perahu nelayan yang bisa anda charter dari nelayan setempat. Menyebrang ke Gili Bola tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama hanya sekitar 15 menit anda sudah berada di Gili Bola. Di sekitar Gili Bola pun sebenarnya terdapat gili-gili yang lain yang cukup seru juga untuk dikunjungi yaitu Gili Panjang, Gili Keramat dan Gili Temudong.
