It's a historic site near dress out Hamun lake. The more you get to the mountain the greener it becomes so you don't need to like history to enjoy the place. Many locals come just for picnic; trees and a look over all the fields around is attractive enough.

تا همین ۲۰ سال پیش آب دریاچه هامون آن را احاطه کرده بود. کاخ/ارگ و حصار مربوط به دوره ساسانی، به همراه آتشکده... که همه در حال مرمت هستند. بازالت سیاه کوه خواجه بر اثر فعالیت‌های آتشفشانی از دشت بیرون زده؛ تضاد جالبی با خاک روشن سیستان دارد. در واقع این کوه همه ویژگی‌های مقدس شمردن را دارد! در بالای کوه خواجه علاوه بر تشکیلات نظامی، چند بنای آرامگاهی و تعداد زیادی قبر وجود دارد، که منسوب است به خواجه مهدی و پیروانش که از کرمان به اینجا پناه آوردند. در اطراف کوه خواجه هنوز علفزارها و نی‌زارها برای چرای دام پیدا می‌شود.

بسیار بسیار زیباست. بر فراز کوه می توانید سراسر دشت هامون را به نظاره بنشینید. ساز‌های خشت و گلی شگفت‌انگیزی بر فراز این کوه وجود دارد که متحیرتان می‌کند. اطلاعات گردشگردی بناها و سازه‌ها اصلا مناسب نیست. در مجموعه سرویس بهداشتی بسیار ضعیف است.

Khajeh Mountain or Koohe Khaje is a archeological site back Zoroastrian period Which is located 30 km southwest of Zabol. It is the only natural height in the Sistan area, It’s on the tentative of list of UNESCO world heritage site. I recommend to find a guide for this place or read more...

بربلندای کوه خواجه زابل مقبره خواجه مهدی که یکی از پیروان خاندان علوی بوده قرار داشته و نام این کوه نیز برگرفته از همین آرامگاه است. همچنین از دیگر اسامی یاد شده از این کوه میتوان به خواجه غلطان، کوه موعود، کوه باطنی و کوه نور نیز اشاره کرد. در ۳۰ کیلومتری جنوب شهر زابل کوهی زیبا و باستانی با نام خواجه زابل واقع شده که به تنها پدیده مرتفع طبیعی دشت سیستان نیز معروف بوده و در ارتفاع ۶۰۹  متری از سطح دریا قرار دارد. این کوه در جوار دریاچه هامون قرار گرفته و در زمانی که این دریاچه پرآب بوده است کوه خواجه زابل همچون جزیره ای درمیان آبهای این...
