The old Qom Bazaar is more than 600 years old, dating back to the Safavid and Qajar eras, and includes handicraft workshops such as traditional dyeing, knife making, lathe, carpentry and sculpture. This bazaar was registered as a national cultural heritage at the end of 1976 and is located in the lines of the Qom Sarahes, Timeshesh, Chaharsuk and some old mosques.
The roof of the bazaar is made of dome-shaped covers and there are circular openings on both sides for air circulation and light entry. The light entering from these windows and illuminating the bazaar creates a beautiful view of light and dust circulation.
