Family Mall Duhok — Local services in Simele District

July 2023 visit:

The bathrooms on the ground and first floor needs attention! Again the western bathrooms are dirty, their bidets don't have enough water pressure and this needs to be fixed asap!

Jan 2023 Update: The whole Family Mall has only 4 seats available! Which are located on the ground floor, and are two benches.

How are the visitors supposed to have a rest? In the 2nd floor(restaurants area) there are some chairs that are meant for the restaurant customers. This really needs to be addressed.

Old review: All in all it is a great place to spend time with your family, many shops are located in here, restaurants, clothing, shoes, sports wear, beauty shops, gadgets, the famous Carrefour and Digital City.

There are places to keep the little ones busy whilst you shop in tranquillity and peace.

There are sufficient parking spaces, the place is secure. Many security guards with metal detectors and x-ray machine. Behind the shopping mall there is a hidden theme park.

There are free bathroom, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, baby changing/nursing rooms and even a dedicated separated praying area.

During my December 2022 visit: The bathrooms weren't very clean, there was no water hose to clean the toilet seats and the bidet had super low...

Total construction area is 146,500 m2, 50,000 m2 of which will be developed as an amusement park.
