What a lovely spot. Plenty of free car parking and Wexford County Council have provided extra car parking in the area for free too. This is well sign posted. Lovely crab fishing to keep young and old occupied during a visit and plenty of kids and adults jumping from the pier into the water. Take time to do the cliff walk and visit both the Milk Bar and the Hungry Heron, they're both worth the walk. Small beach for those not wishing to plunge into the water from the pier and there are some watersports...

In my opinion there's not a lot to Cahore Pier, it's a relatively small pier with no amenities and it was a little drab during winter when I visited. The pier is overlooked by The Stand pub but we didn't go in.

During summer the pier attracts kids and their parents for crab fishing, a past-time my wife used to enjoy there many moons ago. You can also swim from the pier to the beach.

There is a nice walk from the pier to the local south beach which...

Great place to pull-in, or, as we did, stay overnight in the motorhome. Fantastic views from a nearby cliff walk. The sea washing over the pier at hightide is well worth watching. Lots of walkers about in the daytime, but quiet at night. Lovely to find such a beautiful spot with no height barrier. Definitely worth...

In my opinion there's not a lot to Cahore Pier, it's a relatively small pier with no amenities and it was a little drab during winter when I visited. The pier is overlooked by The Stand pub but we didn't go in. During summer the pier attracts kids and their parents for crab fishing, a past-time my wife used to enjoy there many moons ago. You can also swim from the pier to the beach. There is a nice walk from the pier to the local south beach which is stunning.
