We departed Teelin Pier for a boat trip along the Sliabh Liag cliffs. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day with calm seas. The round trip lasted 2 hours and was made all the more interesting by our Captain Kevin, who is a local fisherman and tourist guide. His stories about the people, landscape and history of the surrounding area really gave an insight into the lives and history of the local area.    Read moreA fabulous trip with Paddy in his boat and Kevin in ours. We started and finished with a pod of dolphins hunting in the Bay - several surfaced close to the boats. Then out to sea and the spectacular colours and strata of the cliffs. The sea was kind and the sun shone in a clear blue sky - we were lucky with the weather. There is a quality fast food vendor there and also porta loos that support disabled.
